All About Our Sitters

All our pet and house sitters are responsible individuals, who are reliable, trustworthy and competent animal lovers. They are mature people who, through many years of experience, have complete empathy with animals and the common sense to deal with any situation that may arise.

To become part of our team of pet and house sitters, all applicants must undergo a lengthy process; they are meticulously vetted, by means of acquiring both professional and personal references dating back as far as 20 years and they must also successfully obtain a police check from the CRB. They are then interviewed by our team at our Head Office in Hampshire, whereby we ascertain their experience, competency and ability to do the job.

Part of our team includes a Chocolate Labrador called Scooby and a White German Shepherd called Duffy – they instinctively know an animal lover when they see one!

Once they have successfully completed this process, the applicant is accepted into the highly proficient Animal Angels pet and house sitting team. Our aim is to provide you with a pet and house sitter who will give you the confidence, reassurance and peace of mind to enjoy your trip away.

Our pet and house sitters reside in your home 21 out of 24 hours a day, keeping your pets to their usual routine and your home clean and tidy. They are dedicated solely to caring for your animals and home; they are not allowed to take on additional outside work whilst on your booking or accept personal visitors into your home.

All our pet and house sitters are covered by our comprehensive insurance and they also have the back-up of our 24 hour Helpline, which is manned by expert staff from the Animal Angels office.
